Listen: TRIBUS Featured on ‘REAL Trends: Meet the Influencers’ Podcast

This year, when REAL Trends released its annual Real Estate Website Rankings, they found the website for TRIBUS client RE/MAX Results worthy of recognition in two categories: among the “Best Overall” websites and “Best Property Detail.” Soon after the rankings were released, TRIBUS CEO Eric Stegemann was featured on the “REAL Trends: Meet the Influencers” podcast to talk about what’s new and noteworthy in the real estate technology industry, the history and philosophy of TRIBUS and everything in between.

Stegemann, who has built up experience in real estate and brokerage technology for two decades, brings his expertise to the “REAL Trends: Meet the Influencers” podcast to deliver a wealth of information that any tech-minded broker would find useful. The conversation spans from how brokers can compete with the major online portals like Zillow; why every real estate agent needs to be using a CRM system; the future of newer developments like real estate chatbots and iBuyers; the importance of integrating third-party data sources to your listing pages; and more.

Of course, Stegemann also discusses some of what sets TRIBUS apart from many other real estate technology vendors. When asked to identify the key component of designing custom real estate brokerage websites, rather than selecting a single product, like a fast IDX search function or a brokerage Intranet (though, obviously, those are important features of any successful broker platform), Stegemann shines a light on a more abstract element: research. This focus on research guides TRIBUS, as we do endless user testing of our products to continually improve them. We rely on data we’ve collected over our guts to make our most important product decisions. Perhaps this data-driven mindset is part of why, as Stegemann notes, our aforementioned, acclaimed client RE/MAX Results has seen around 45 percent adoption of our technology among its agents — in addition to the training and support we provide to their entire team 11 hours a day, five days a week.
